Sweet Pea Gardening Kit
Package Design
Sweet Pea, brought to you by One Cool Earth, aims to bring gardening education and hands-on experience into the home with three interactive lesson plans. With classrooms moving into homes due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has become increasingly challenging to bring projects inside that are easy to set up and execute for children in kindergarten to sixth grade. Our team’s aim was to design a functional and interactive package that can aid in garden education for students in kindergarten through sixth grade.

Package Use
The packaging structure is multipurpose; it includes instructions on the interior of the sleeve and it is able to be reused as a gardening display by flipping over each pod. The use of paperboard for the entire package also promotes sustainability and compostability, which parallels One Cool Earth’s mission.
